Who is this for? Birthworkers who know the sleepless nights, the meals skipped, the texts answered at all hours, the way your nervous system waits on edge even when you are "off call".

Midwife host: Crystal Bailey
I'm a Nurse Midwife, Doctor of Naturopathy and Certified Feminine Embodiment Coach.
I'm proudly a hands-on midwife in a freebirth era and advocate for keeping the timeless skills of birthworkers to participate in making birth better. I've done trainings in massage and fascia work and combine many techniques to accomplish what sometimes is needed-- like releasing babies releasing from breech, opening sacrums for birthing, energetically getting contractions to surge, & stopping bleeding without meds.
I believe we are powerful participants in something deep and beautiful and I love to teach it.
Doula Co-host & Sound Healer:
Amanda
My dear friend Amanda Bilyeu-Garrison will be blessing us with sound healing... but not without first teaching about how we can use sound in labor and birth prep.
She's actually the first doula I ever met! We go back 20 years to a birth center in Tennessee and she's an unending flow of passion for birthwork. She leads childbirth education for Diana Health, attends birth as a doula, is a sound healer and founder of the birth prep method "Birthing Rhythms."

Ayurvedic Postpartum Chef: Sam Martin
"The Shire Mother"
Sam will create some beautiful food to nourish us. She'll share about how we can be nourishing our bodies better for birthwork and our recovery afterwards. When all the postpartum attention is given to the mother, birthworkers can fail to honor their own energetic and physical recovery. This perspective, and sharing of recipes, will hopefully help us take better care of our post-birth self.
